Hollywood's leading ladies were working the red carpet on both sides of the Atlantic on Wednesday. Jennifer Aniston made her second fab frock choice this week at the UK premiere of The Break Up while Kate Beckinsale and Liv Tyler put their spin on black at opening nights in California and New York.
Just days after wowing her German fans in a slinky metallic number in Hamburg, the Friends star made another stunning style statement in London at the screening of her hit romantic comedy. Jen, 37, had chosen a fabulous cut-away silk dress by Versace that emphasised her toned, bronzed figure. Unsurprisingly her co-star Vince Vaughn couldn't resist singing her praises.
Describing his new love, Vince said: "She's the best – very genuine, honest and down to earth." The actor also had high praise for British women, whom he described as "smart" with "great fashion sense and a sense of humour".
In California, Kate turned heads in a glamorous black gown with plunging neckline and silver waistband - in contrast to co-star Adam Sandler who had dressed down for the occasion in baseball cap and t-shirt. The gorgeous Brit, who is based in Venice Beach near Beverly Hills, was attending the first night of their new comedy Click. Talking about her latest project, the actress enthused: "It was one of the best working experiences I've ever had."
The Van Helsing actress has revealed she is now planning to take the summer off, but will be back at work in September on April 23, a drama set in Russia during the Cold War.
Not just a pretty face, Kate studied Russian at Oxford before making it in Hollywood, "It will be the first time I get to use my Russian in a film," she says, "so I'm very excited. My time at Oxford is finally paying off."
Meanwhile onlookers went dotty about Liv as she made an appearance at a screening in New York. The Lord Of The Rings beauty opted for a polka-dot top and black trousers for the Hugo Boss event, where she was accompanied by her rocker husband Royston Langdon.
