A day after starring in Australia's wedding of the year, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban looked like they were still floating on cloud nine. The newlyweds beamed as they strolled through the foyer of the luxury Sydney hotel where they spent their first night as man and wife.
At the Sunday ceremony, tears of joy accompanied the smiles. The Moulin Rouge star is said to have wept throughout the emotional day, while the Country singer's eyes misted over the moment he caught sight of his bride.
And there are likely to have been more damp eyes at the reception when Keith serenaded Nicole with one of his hits, which includes the line: "I'm going to love you like nobody loves you - and I'll earn your trust makin' memories of us."
Another couple celebrating their nuptials this weekend were Desperate Housewives star Marcia Cross and her stockbroker beau Tom Mahoney. The pair pledged their love at The Church Of Our Saviour in California.
Flame-haired Marcia walked down the aisle in an exquisite ivory dress by designer Reem Acra. Her fiery red mane was loose about her shoulders, decorated with a peony corsage. The romantic look was finished off with a diamond bracelet, pendant and earrings that came courtesy of her friend, jeweller-to-the-stars Neil Lane.
Plenty of the actress' Wisteria Lane pals were on hand to witness her happy day. Eva Longoria, who plays Latin temptress Gabrielle Solis, arrived with her boyfriend basketball player Tony Parker. Meanwhile Felicity Huffman, the show's harassed working mum, was escorted by husband William H Macy.
