Gladiator star Russell Crowe and his wife Danielle Spencer have welcomed a new addition to their family ranks. Their second son Tennyson Spencer Crowe was born last Friday at 7.27am at Sydney's Royal North Shore hospital. "Mother, father and baby are doing extremely well," said the couple's spokesman.
A delighted Russell broke the news that he and his actress/singer wife were expecting a brother for their two-year-old child Charles at January's Golden Globes. "Dani's pregnant again - she's due in July," he announced on the red carpet.
In a TV interview in March the Oscar-winning star said Charles knew he had a sibling on the way. "He knows the baby's in Mummy's tummy and that he was a baby once and another baby's coming along," said Russell, adding that the toddler's first choice for his brother's name was Pumpkinhead.
And if the actor's comments before the birth are to be believed the newborn has already got his first taste of the limelight - Russell said he planned to be in the delivery room with a video camera.
