Irish heart-throb Colin Farrell recently declared that being a good father to baby son James was his number one priority. The hunky actor's sense of family values obviously extends to his siblings too, though, as he took older sister Claudine along to the UK premiere of his latest blockbuster Miami Vice on Thursday.

The Dublin-born star was photographed wrapping a protective arm around the pretty brunette at the aftershow party in London's Sanderson Hotel. But Claudine is no stranger to the glitz and glamour of the movie industry, having worked as her famous brother's personal assistant for the past four years, as well as accompanying him to the 2003 Oscars.

Colin was just one of a series of big names provoking screams of delight from the huge crowd of movie fans gathered in Leicester Square. His co-star Jamie Foxx was looking characteristically stylish when he arrived on the red carpet in a dazzling white suite, while Star Wars actors Ewan McGregor and Samuel L Jackson both opted for rather more casual attire. Top model Caprice and Memoirs Of A Geisha actress Gong Li were also in attendance for the glitzy West End screening.

Speaking to fans outside the event, Jamie promised his latest flick would be nothing like Don Johnson's iconic Eighties TV show. "I loved watching the original, but this is different to the original series," he explained. "The director Michael Mann strips it down and makes it sexy." The film's leading man had a slightly more down-to-earth take on why Miami Vice needed a little updating. "I enjoyed watching the original series as a kid but mullets are definitely not going to come back in fashion," he joked.
