Nicollette Sheridan is best known for her role as serial divorcee Edie Britt on Desperate Housewives, but off-screen she is becoming recognised for her passionate support of animal charities.
And the stunning actress, who is an accomplished horsewoman and the proud owner of two pet dogs, couldn't have been happier as she enjoyed time with some of the animal kingdom's more wild companions this week.
The London-born beauty spent Saturday getting up close and personal with a baby tiger at the Safari Brunch fundraiser in the grounds of the Playboy Mansion. And Nicollette didn't hesitate to plant a tender kiss on the little cub as she bottle-fed him.
She collected the Celebrity Best Friend Award at the annual event which raises money for the Wildlife Waystation, a sanctuary for wild and exotic animals in the Angeles National Forest.
Next up Nicollette is getting involved in "dine with your dog day", an initiative that raises funds for animal rescue charities. The star is due to launch the statewide Californian event on Thursday by dining with her white Golden Retriever, Oliver - a gift from her fiancé Michael Bolton - at the Hyatt Regency hotel, alongside fellow celebrity pet lovers.
