Jude Law and ballerina Darcey Bussell hit the ice this week as Somerset House in London opened its rink for the festive season. The Cold Mountain actor, 33, was seen giving daughter Iris and son Rudy a steadying hand as they tackled the slippery surface.
The family outing comes not long after news broke that Jude has finally parted from on-off girlfriend Sienna Miller, whom he dated during a turbulent three-year relationship. Affairs of the heart seemed far from his mind, though, as the devoted dad enjoyed the skating action with his kids. Luckily for six-year-old Iris, who had a shaky start and clung to her famous father throughout, Jude seemed quite a pro.
Meanwhile, Darcey swapped her ballet shoes for skates as she cut an elegant figure at the rink on the Strand. The stylish 37-year-old, who had wrapped up for the occasion in a black coat and Russian-style fur hat, was enjoying time out with her banker husband Angus Forbes and their youngest daughter Zoe.
A mum-of-two - the couple have another daughter, Phoebe - Darcey announced her retirement as principal dancer with the Royal ballet this year to spend more time with her young family. She hasn't hung up her dancing shoes completely, however, as she is still performing as a principal guest artist.
