Back in the US after a visit to her little boy Maddox's Cambodian homeland, Angelina Jolie has been making some candid comments about how she and her hunky beau Brad Pitt fell in love.

The actress says they became close friends while working on Mr And Mrs Smith, but it wasn't until later that romance blossomed. "Because of the film, we ended up being brought together to do all these crazy things and I think we found this strange friendship and partnership," she explained. "It took until, really, the end of the shoot for us to realise it might mean something more than we'd earlier allowed ourselves to believe."

Speaking in the January edition of an American magazine, the actress also revealed she had met the heart-throb's ex Jennifer Aniston. "I did, but it was not a proper meeting," she said. "We passed each other and said 'Hi' briefly and shook hands, but not a real sit-down-and-talk kind of meeting. That would be her decision, and I would welcome it."

Meanwhile, Brad and Angelina have been sharing details of the family's recent trip to Cambodia with HELLO! magazine. This week's edition features an intimate report, including touching photos of the couple's three young children, five-year-old Maddox, Zahara, 23-months, and new baby girl Shiloh Nouvel.
