Will Smith is currently visiting London to promote his new movie The Pursuit Of Happyness. Judging by the smile on his face when he and his son Jaden arrived for a charity bash in the Dorchester Hotel, however, the actor has already found all the contentment a man could wish for.

The statuesque performer was also accompanied by wife Jada when he turned out for the Prince's Trust event. His British co-star Thandie Newton was on hand, too, along with her husband Oliver Parker, and her parents Nick and Nyasha.

Monday's bash was organised to honour five young people from disadvantaged backgrounds who have turned their lives around thanks to the charity. And the guest of honour, who was known as the Fresh Prince in the early days of his career, had a surprise for its founder when he suggested a change of image. "I think you should rename it The Fresh Prince's Trust," he joked. "It kind of has a ring to it, don't you think?"

The American star also jumped at the chance to show off his musical skills by spinning a few discs. Absolutely Fabulous star Joanna Lumley, who was likewise snapped behind the turntables, didn't seem nearly so confident, though. "I've never done anything like it before, but the DJ just asked me," she confessed. "I was so relieved when Will turned up and I could stop. I'm a huge fan and I even got a kiss from him."
