Madonna and Guy Richie were the picture of togetherness as they stepped out for the premiere of Arthur And The Invisibles, the singer's fantasy adventure for kids, on Thursday night. The couple, who were joined by children Lourdes and Rocco, gave the lie to rumours of marital problems as they cuddled up in London's Leicester Square.
There was no doubting the affection between the pop queen and her film-maker love as she gave him a tender hug and they held hands at the West End screening. And although the family night out didn't include 15-month-old adopted son David Banda, when asked about him Madonna positively glowed with pride. "He's great, wonderful," she said. "He's at home sleeping."
Meanwhile Lourdes and Rocco were no doubt keen to hear their mum playing Princess Selenia in her latest screen project, which also involves the talents of David Bowie and Robert De Niro.
The singer, who was looking ultra glamorous in a Dolce & Gabbana coat and Stella McCartney shoes, admitted it had been nice to be able to adopt a much more relaxed mode of dress while making the movie. "It was great fun," she says. "I got to voice the character while sitting there in my tracksuit."
