When Robin Williams recently revealed himself to a huge fan of 24 in a US magazine interview, he couldn't resist asking for a part in the show. "I would play a technical adviser, anything," he said. If the show's protagonist Kiefer Sutherland has anything to do with it that request could become reality.

"It would be an honour (to have him on the show)," said Kiefer, after learning of Robin's wish. "You're talking about an Academy Award-winning actor with no lack of energy, which is what we require."

In fact, the 42-year-old star has gone as far as considering a possible character and plot for the Hollywood veteran. "Robin could be an innocent computer analyst who stumbles onto something cryptic… and becomes a target," he explains. "(My character) Jack Bauer, the government and the bad guys are all looking for this guy, who is scared to death and running for his life."
