After he and wife Katie Holmes treated daughter Suri to a Disney trip on Saturday, Tom Cruise enjoyed a 'boys' day out' with his son at a big American race meet on Sunday.
In addition to 14-year-old Conor, Tom's father-in-law, Martin Holmes, was also on hand at the Daytona 500 International Speedway circuit to see the 46-year-old actor reprise one of his best-known roles. Tom helped kick start the pre-race celebrations by getting back behind the wheel of the car he drove 18 years ago in Days Of Thunder.
And he was joined by Martin and Conor for a spin round the famous track in the pace car ahead of the day's race.
The location has special meaning for the actor and his son, who had the opportunity to see first-hand the place where his dad Tom met former wife Nicole Kidman while they were lensing the film in 1980.
And while Nicole's ex was catching up on the past at the racetrack, her current husband, musician husband Keith Urban, was on hand, too, performing a surprise two-song set.
