Film-makers of tomorrow had the chance to meet the British stars of today at a special awards evening in London on Tuesday.
Sienna Miller, Danny Boyle and Michael Sheen were just some of the famous faces who went along to recognise the achievements of young movie makers by presenting trophies at the First Light Movie Awards.
Providing inspiration for budding young directors, Slumdog Millionaire's Danny them the chance to get up close and personal with the coveted trophies which are the holy grail of the cinema industry.
Speaking of the evening's young winners the 52-year-old said: "They really don't need a lot of advice. They just need to keep going.
"Hollywood seems like a long way away… It's not…It's always about persistence".
First Light Movies provides the funding and expertise to enable five- to 19-year-olds throughout the UK to make their own short digital films. The offerings are then judged by celebrity stars, which this year included Daniel Craig, Kate Beckinsale and Orlando Bloom.
