They've always maintained they're nothing more than just good friends, but it seems romance may be on the cards for Slumdog Millionaire stars Dev Patel and Freida Pinto after all. The pair, who play childhood sweethearts in the Oscar-winning film, were pictured snuggling up in Israel this week on a al fresco lunch date, during which they were seen sharing kisses.
Frieda, who at one point nestled her head on Dev's shoulder, is filming her second big screen project Miral in the country, and 19-year-old Dev had flown out from London to visit her.
Reports of a romance began soon after the couple started work on Danny Boyle's Mumbai-set drama. And co-star Anil Kapoor added fuel to the fire.
"When I meet them I feel there is something happening," reveals the actor, who portrayed the Indian host of TV gameshow Who Wants To Be A Millionaire in the film, adding the couple share "a magical chemistry".
