Locals at Freshwater West beach in Pembrokeshire have been flooding down to the shoreline to watch as the Harry Potter technical team work their magic creating one of the sets for Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, the latest instalment of the boy wizard franchise.
With its walls covered with hundreds of shells and a scallop-covered roof, Shell Cottage – described by the author as a "lonely and beautiful place" - is certainly seductively fantastical. Fans of the children's books will recognise the house as the place where Harry and his pals seek refuge from his nemesis Lord Voldemort in the final episode of JK Rowling's best-selling series.
Interest in the movie action hasn't only come from locals. Tourism bosses are hoping the choice of Pembroke as the location for the last Harry Potter film – as well as the Russell Crowe's Robin Hood – will help attract more visitors to south west Wales.
