Disrobing for a film as a 30-something mother of one might be rather daunting. Especially when the role requires you to play the object of desire for a group of much younger men.

But Rachel Weisz didn't seem to find it too much of a challenge, as she revealed at the presentation of her latest flick Agora.

The actress was the toast of Cannes as she made a limelight-stealing entrance in a revealing jade gown, featuring a split to the thigh, flanked by two of her handsome young co-stars.

Asked if she'd considered having a stand-in for her nude scenes the Oscar-winning actress replied: "Absolutely not. It was all me. Never even thought of using a double."

In the movie she portrays real-life fourth- century Greek philosopher and astronomer Hypatia, who is caught up in a love triangle with two of her students.

Max Minghella, son of the late director Anthony Minghella also stars, appearing in one of the body-baring scenes along with her.

The screening of their flick wasn't the only highlight of the weekend's action on the French Riviera. Accompanied by husband Nick Cannon, Mariah Carey rolled out her movie Precious, in which she ditches her usual glamorous wardrobe to play a social worker.

There was no dressing down for the diva at her premiere, though. She dazzled in a plunge-necked cutaway Roberto Cavalli affair – one of seven outfits she wore during 48 hours on the Cote D'Azur.

Other beauties lighting up the Croisette in the last few days have included Kristin Scott Thomas, Monica Belluci and Sophie Marceau, both of whom were on stunning form in scarlet gowns.
