British Airways is bringing back ‘Silent Picturehouse’ - a unique cinematic experience in London showing five travel-inspired films on big screens in the evening, and children’s movies by day. In an innovative twist, viewers tune in from personal headsets, replicating the in-flight experience. With Edith Bowman hosting the launch night, 'Silent Picturehouse' will take place in exclusive London venue between 22-26 July.
Films will be shown on five giant screens simultaneously. The movies include: the latest James Bond hit Skyfall on the ‘Best of BAFTA 2013’ screen; timeless thriller Jaws on the ‘Classic Summer Blockbuster’ screen; adventure drama The Beach on the ‘Travel Classics’ screen and cult classic Top Gun on the ‘Flight in Film’ screen. There will also be a ‘Fans’ Choice’ screen, showing either Casablanca, Into the Wild, Sleepless in Seattle, Slumdog Millionaire or The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. Tickets go on sale from 9am on Monday 24 June. Silent Picturehouse Kids tickets start from £7.50. Children must be 3-14 years old, and every two children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
