Louis Walsh has revealed that the X Factor judges this year get on better than ever before. "The four judges get on the best, it's the best it's ever been," said Louis to ITV presenters Lorraine Kelly and Aled Jones. "We're all friends and we all respect each other so we're not in competition.""I genuinely respect Mrs O and Gary and Nicole," added Louis of his fellow judges.

Lorraine then asked Louis if Sharon would need to throw a glass of water over him again, as she did in series two of the talent show when Louis claimed that the other judges were bullying him. "Not yet," laughed the Irish 61-year-old. "But the live shows start on Saturday so anything can happen. "Speaking about his contestants, Luke Friend, Sam Callahan and Nicholas McDonald, Louis said he had made the right choices about who to take to the live shows. "I think I picked the right three," said Louis before Lorraine revealed that she thinks Luke has an unlikely lookalike. "Have you had this before because I thought [that you look like] Kimberley Walsh?" said Lorraine, causing Sam and Nicholas to burst out laughing.

Luke, who revealed that he actually went to the same school as Kimberley, said that had been told that he looked like the Girls Aloud beauty before.

When asked if he would cut of his trademark shoulder-length hair Luke said he had no idea what he would look like. "That's one of the threats we play in the house" said Sam. "If he keeps messing about and that we're just going to take a razor to his hair in the night!"
