Matthew Wright's attempt to spark a "revolution" in the I'm A Celebrity ... jungle ended in him calling Westlife's Kian Egan a "scab".

TV talk show host Matthew tried to rally the rest of the campmates after they complained they were too hot and Kian's request for shade wasn't granted.

"If we all take our mikes off, we'll soon find the canopy will come down pretty quick.," said Matthew. "Are you with me fellows, revolution aye?"

The plan fell apart when Emmerdale star Lucy Pargeter came back into the camp after her trial and Kian asked her about it.

An angered Matthew interrupted her saying, "We thought we'd sit here in complete silence until the canopy comes down.

"Kian continued talking and Matthew said, "That's solidarity, brother, that's what happened with industrial relations in this country - scabs like you."

Matthew continued to interject saying, "Oh scab! I didn't even want the canopy down, I'm only doing it for everyone else. I thought we were going to make some kind of stand and then every three seconds you are undermining it."

Kian replied, "You are the only person who wants to do it! Lucy has just come back from the trial - we should listen to her speak! Let her talk about it. Your attitude is unnecessary.

"There was more drama for the contestants when cameras spotted Miss Universe GB Amy Willerton giving TOWIE star Joey Essex some chewing gum she had smuggled into the camp.

The producers ordered the campers to hand over all their contraband or lose some of the meals won in the trial, resulting in a secret stash including towels, a torch, a pen and gum being handed over.
