Dancing On Ice is going out with a bang. Following mentors Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean's decision to say goodbye to the hit ITV show, past winners and favourite contestants have been invited back to compete in the final series. Among those who will be getting their skates on to take part are former champions, Suzanne Shaw (series three), Hayley Tamaddon (series five) and Beth Tweddle (series eight). Fellow winners Kyran Bracken (series two), Ray Quinn (series four) and Sam Attwater (series six) have also confirmed their place in the show, which will hit screens next year.
Celebrity contestants from all past eight series will be teamed up with professionals once again to show off their skills on the ice. Hoping to take the title this time round are runners-up Jorgie Porter (series seven) and Gary Lucy (series five), who will be taking on other skating stars including Bonnie Langford, David Seaman, Gareth Gates and Todd Carty. Zaraah Abrahams, Kyran Bracken and Joe Pasquale will also be hoping to impress on the ice in the all-star final series. Phillip Schofield and Christine Bleakley will be rink-side to host the show, while Olympic skating superstars Jayne and Christopher return one final time to help train the celebs. "Viewers are in for an absolute treat this year," said Phillip. "I'm over the moon we'll be welcoming back to the ice some of our very best skaters and characters from over the years."
