Simon Cowell has confirmed that he will be returning for The X Factor 2014.
Ending months of speculation Simon excitedly announced that he will appear once again on the UK talent show when it returns for its 11th series this autumn.
"I'm absolutely thrilled to be returning to The X Factor UK," said father-to-be Simon, who has been in the US working on the American version of the show. "It's been three years since I last judged the competition and I'm excited to find a global superstar again."

"ITV's director of television, Peter Fincham, said he was equally as excited to see Simon return. "It's fantastic news that Simon is returning to The X Factor," he said. "We are all very much looking forward to him re-joining the judging panel later this year"
