Kylie Minogue quits The Voice after tour clash

Kylie Minogue has quit Britain's The Voice, after just one season on the BBC programme, because she'll be busy with her upcoming tour.The 41-year-old revealed that it just wouldn't work out for her to continue finding talent with Tom Jones, will.i.am and the Kaiser Chief’s Ricky Wilson later this year when filming it expected to begin because she’ll be belting out tunes on stage.

The Australian star hinted she isn't completely opposed to returning to her large red chair though, but the network would have to make adjustments to get her back. "I'm touring later this year and the timings wouldn't work. We started filming in November last year and I'm on tour in September, October and November this year," she told The Sun newspaper.

 Adding about possible negotiations: "I would have to think about it. "Kylie, has a few ideas about who would be good enough to replace her. She believes whoever takes the job must be busting with personality and ooze sex appeal. "Charisma is important and that is often very close to someone being sexy," she confessed.

It comes after she delighted UK audiences by performing with former Neighbours co-star Jason Donovan for Sport Relief on Friday.The star's performance of Especially For You got gatecrashed by comedian David Walliams who dressed to emulate her male singing partner from 25 years ago.

Audiences were shocked to find the real Jason later come out to form an exciting reunion. However the act ended up with Jason taking a liking to David and former soap star Kylie was left lonely in front of the crowd.

The programme helped raise £51,242,186 for charity and celebrities, including David Beckham in an Only Fools and Horses clip, helped achieve the record-breaking amount for the charity.Little Mix released the official song  Word Up for the Sainsbury's sponsored initiative.
