It will be the series’ third season but the first featuring recent UK judges Kylie and will.i.am.

Australian pop star Kylie quit The Voice UK after one series because it will interfere with her upcoming tour, however she will get a second shot of winning the show with this new Australian series.

In the Twitter picture the account posted, Kylie and will.i.am sit in the same chairs as they did in the UK version, with Joel Madden sat in the third seat and Ricky Martin in the final chair.

In a two minute trailer for the show, Kylie is seen sitting backstage as she reveals what can make her turn around.

"It can be the most fragile, tiny little voice, or it could be the voice that blows you out of your seat. It’s about the connection, it’s about making you feel something," she says.will.i.am added: "The music industry is kind of backwards. The singer is always in the back, so what The Voice does is put that amazing singer centre."

Host Richard McMullen said: "We've been filming for a couple of days already and its already exceeding expectations."

It’s been a busy few months for Kylie who released her twelfth studio album before announcing her UK and Ireland tour dates.

Her album was inspired by her emotions after splitting in 2013 from long-term boyfriend Andres Velencoso, however Kylie recently admitted that she is still coming to terms with her heartache.

When asked if she was still processing the breakup, she said: "It's not that long ago. I'm past the crying every night stage…” before adding: "Thankfully Andres and I are still in touch. Obviously, not like we used to be. "She went on: "He's a great guy and that's important… I'm enjoying that I'm so distracted. I'm not sitting at home pining."
