Shailene Woodley tells "the truth" about sad stories in the latest extended trailer for the upcoming highly-anticipated The Fault In Our Stars.
Based on the bestselling novel by John Green, The Fault In Our Stars follow Hazel, played by Shailene, a 16-year-old cancer patient who is forced by her parents to attend a cancer support group.

Hazel is suffering from thyroid cancer which has spread to her lungs, and while at the support group, she meets Gus, a cancer survivor who recently had his leg amputated.Due to their circumstances, they both realise that life could slip away at any moment and what follows is a story of two people trying to get through each day.

Directed by Josh Boone and also starring Ansel Elgort as Hazel’s star-crossed lover Gus, The Fault In Our Stars is an emotional rollercoaster and the film looks set to be a serious tear-jerker.

The extended trailer gives us a clearer look at Hazel’s relationship with her parents, played by Sam Trammel and Laura Dern, and also provides us with more of the funny and heartbreaking moments between Hazel and Gus.
The Fault In Our Stars is out in the UK on June 19, and pop superstar Ed Sheeran recently confirmed he will be contributing to the film’s soundtrack, released on May 19.
