While mourners paid their respects at Tina's grave, tempers flared when Peter, played by Chris Gascoyne, arrived drunk, clutching a bottle of vodka, and shouting at Rob.

Despite Steve McDonald's attempts to calm Peter, who was having an affair with Tina before she was murdered, he and Rob are soon involved in a punch-up.

After Rob and Peter's scuffle is diffused, the latter was seen emotionally embracing Steve.

Tina's dramatic exit will air in May, although the person behind her death will remain a mystery for several months. "We've got some massive stories coming up that are really different," said the show's producer Stuart Blackburn. "Everyone knows Tina is going; it's going to be an incredible, spectacular exit and it's going to take us right through autumn and December. It's going to be massive."

Michelle Keegan also recently spoke to  HELLO! Online about her "daunting" exit from the hit ITV show. "Corrie is all I've known since I got into acting," the 26-year-old said. "I'm really excited because it's going to be a massive, explosive ending."
