Ahead of the premiere of David Beckham's BBC documentary Into The Unknown, his wife, fashion designer Victoria Beckham, has poked fun at his fear of insects.
In a series of three tweets, the internationally renowned designer posted three stills of David in the documentary with cartoon insects and animals running up his back and perching on his shoulders. In a nod to David's fear of frogs, in one of the pictures a frog sits on top of David's head. During a recent interview with Michael Palin, David was asked about some of the terrifying experiences of the trip and he recalled being left shaken when a frog appeared on his tent - to which Michael replied: "You are a wimp really. David Attenborough would have interviewed it."
David admitted: "I am not a big frog fan. It was bright orange and I was told it was pretty dangerous. I was a little bit nervous about that." In a recent trailer for the documentary, which follows David and friends explore the Brazilian rainforest in the run up to the 2014 World Cup, Victoria jokingly asks: "what are you going to do about your hair?" as David shows Victoria and eldest son Brooklyn a map of his planned travels throughout the Amazon rainforest. During the trip, David spoke to Davi, the first-ever Yanomami shaman to have published a book, about the problems facing his tribe, including the illegal gold mining that has been taking place on their land.
