Fast & Furious release date brought forward

Fast & Furious 7, the latest installment of the racing movie franchise starring late actor Paul Walker, will hit cinema screens earlier than planned. The action-packed movie, which was set for release on 10 April, has been brought forward by one week to 3 April. The new release date comes after filming of the highly-anticipated movie recently wrapped up.

Final scenes were filmed with late actor Paul Walker's lookalike brother Cody Fast & Furious star Dwayne Johnson shared the high moment with fans on Twitter. "Thats a wrap. #RockWan #Fast7 RT: @creepypuppet: One of the best ever! Laughter & professionalism! Let's do it again!" The film was originally due for release last November but was delayed due to the death of Paul, who tragically died in a car crash at the age of 40. The pair had gone for a ride in a Porsche, which was travelling at approximately 90mph when it lost control on a suburban street and crashed in November 2013.

"We came together and all felt the only choice was to continue. We believe our fans want that, and we believe Paul would want that too. "We have resumed shooting," the statement added, "and now welcome Paul's brothers, Caleb and Cody, into our Fast family. Caleb and Cody are helping us complete some remaining action for their brother and fill in small gaps left in production. Having them on set has made us all feel that Paul is with us too." Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Jason Statham and Jordana Brewster also star in the film.
