Bradley Cooper shocks fans by working in London Burger King

July 29, 2014

Bradley Cooper stunned restaurant goers on Sunday when he appeared behind the counter of the Leicester Square branch of Burger King, flipping burgers, cooking fries, and taking orders.

The Hollywood actor has been attached to star in Adam Jones since early 2013 and finally filming has gotten underway - in the surprise location of the fast food chain.

Billed as a comedy, the film stars Bradley as a disgraced chef who loses his restaurant in Paris and decides to bring his entire kitchen crew with him and attempt to open the best restaurant in London.

Fifty Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan, Emma Thompson, and Sienna Miller also feature.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, a source said: "Bradley was training alongside genuine Burger King staff. The aim was to learn the 'art of the flip' which he nailed fairly quickly. There was no real fanfare from him.

"You’d never know he was a big star by the way he spoke to people."

Since breaking out in the hit comedy The Hangover in 2008, Bradley hasn't taken a break from acting. He become a two-time Oscar nominee, starred in the Marvel film Guardians of the Galaxy, and worked alongside Hollywood darling Jennifer Lawrence in three films in two years - Silver Linings Playbook, Serena, and American Hustle.

He recently gained 40lbs to star in the true story American Sniper, a biographical drama directed by Clint Eastwood and starring Bradley as Chris Kyle, a United States Navy SEAL who claimed to be America's most lethal sniper.

It also seems his passion for acting has rubbed off on girlfriend Suki Waterhouse.

The 22-year-old has finished her first film, Love, Rosie which is due out in October, and recently revealed that she has always wanted to be an actor.

"I always did lots of theatre when I was at school," said Suki. "But you just wait for the right things, I want to do really cool stuff."

She also revealed how the pair met, recounting: "We were introduced and hit it off almost immediately.

"We were dancing at the after-party, and he asked me if I fancied going to a club. He's a ridiculously good dancer," she added. "But I'm a serious dancer too. We make a pretty good duo."
