New Downton Abbey promotional images have fans talking - and not just because viewers of the period drama are excited for its return. One picture posted as a teaser on the show's official Facebook page includes an error that might at first go unnoticed. But social network users have quickly pointed out the inconsistency of a plastic water bottle appearing in the picture, starring Hugh Bonneville and Laura Carmichael.

With the series set in 1924, it obviously would have been impossible for Lady Edith and the Earl of Grantham to have access to a plastic screwtop bottle, and the photo was soon removed from Facebook after those who ‘like’ the page began to laugh about the mistake.Meanwhile, actor Hugh was greeted by his waxwork doppelganger this week at Madame Tussauds.

When asked about coming face to face with his replica, the star admitted that it was a "peculiar" experience. "I think I finally have to accept that I'm not Brad Pitt, I finally accept that. My god, it's really uncanny,” he told Good Morning Britain. "The weird thing is you never see yourself as a human being from the back so now I know what I look like from the back. It's really strange... I think it's too peculiar to say 'I like it'!"Downton Abbey will return for its fifth series on ITV in the autumn.
