Judy Murray will join Frankie Sandford on Strictly

"I'm a huge Strictly Come Dancing fan but a total armchair dancer. It's going to be a big challenge for me and for whoever has to dance with me but I absolutely can't wait to get started!" she said.Speaking exclusively to HELLO! magazine this week ahead of the announcement, Strictly judge Darcey Bussell revealed she would love to see Judy's son Andy on the show. "It would be fun to have someone like Andy Murray," she says. "I think that because my background in dance was very physical I enjoy watching sports personalities - they are physically aware and also have that dedication".

Frankie Bridge was the first contestant to be confirmed for the new series of Strictly. The Saturdays' singer, 25, made the big announcement during an appearance on BBC Breakfast with her bandmates last week."I'm such a huge fan of Strictly!" Frankie said. "I've always wanted to be a part of the show – it looks so much fun and the costumes are just gorgeous. "Like so many little girls, I used to take dance lessons when I was in primary school and I really love dancing, but this is going to be so different from anything I have done with The Saturdays. I just can't wait to get started!
