The X Factor will return to screens this August
The eleventh season of the smash hit reality show has been hotly anticipated by fans as it sees the return of former judges Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Simon Cowell.
Joining the pair are long time judge Louis Walsh and ex-Spice Girl Mel B.
For the last couple of months the four judges have been hard at work touring the country as the open auditions have got underway.
Cheryl and Mel B were both clearly enjoying being back on the panel (Mel B was a guest judge in 2012), as in between judging hopefuls, they both made time for some fun with both judges and the audience, posting selfies on Twitter.
This season will also see the return of the original in-room auditions which were brought back in time for the Manchester auditions in June, as well as a few other surprises which are sure to add drama.
Mel B and Cheryl take selfies Rumours have also circulated that suggest a fifth celebrity will be chosen to mentor a wildcard category in this year's live shows, leading to the end of judging deadlocks. Sources hint that each judge will also have four acts in the finals, rather than previous years of three.
This new season also sees the elimination of last year's Flash Vote system which opened up voting lines to the public who could call to save their favourite act from the bottom two.
Robert Pattison's sister Lizzy impressed judges Instead, there is talk of a new Twitter voting system for the live shows.
This will allow viewers to cast their vote by tweeting their favourite contestants. It was also recently revealed that Robert Pattinson's older sister Lizzy took part in the live X Factor
Wembley Arena auditions. The 31-year-old singer passed the first stage of behind-closed-doors auditions after impressing the judges.
