Made in Chelsea NYC episode three: love triangles and cheating scandals

August 24, 2014

After last week's heartbreak with Alex revealing he hooked up with Jamie Laing’s ex, the MIC cast continued the drama this week with several love triangles emerging Stateside.

The episode opened with a newly single Binky sailing along the Hudson River revealing to Rosie, Mark Francis and Victoria that she was excited for a possibile new romance in New York.

Meanwhile, lovebirds Alik and Louise strolled the East Side neighbourhood and seemed intent on setting up mutual friends, Rosie and Jules, following their successful romantic double date.

As love blossomed in the East Side, across town, Spencer revealed he was excited to ask newcomer, Billie, out on a second date.

Love appeared to be heating up between the duo on their tandem bike date last week.

However, the lothario continues to face fierce competition against Stevie, who is relentless in his pursuit to win Billie’s heart. Meanwhile, self-named "Bowery boys"

Proudlock and Stevie, enjoyed an afternoon of rollerblading in the park, surprisingly bumping into Billie while she exercised with her friend, Carson. According to the heiress, Spencer had been the "perfect gentleman" on their date but admitted that she was still interested in dating Stevie, much to his delight.

Later that evening, Binky, Rosie and Louise enjoyed a girl’s night in at Anna Louise's art studio, participating in a evening of life drawing.

Binky's sister, Anna Louise, has been living New York for several years and she shared some light on the dating scene in the Big Apple. "It's more relaxed," she revealed to the girls, as she explained that New Yorkers have a tendency to date multiple people at the same time. However, Louise reassured Rosie that Jules didn't seem to be the type to date numerous girls.

Meanwhile, Jules was spotted meeting up with his live-in girlfriend of two years, Jana, and openly admitted that he is surprised that people are shocked with their polyamorous lifestyle. The model later revealed to Alik that he wasn't sure when would be the right moment to reveal his unorthodox relationship to Rosie, as he still was interested in dating her.

The love triangle between Spencer, Stevie and Billie intensified the next day as Stevie took Billie out on a rowboat on the lake. The Chelsea boy pulled out all the stops for the New Yorker as he presented her with a picnic filled with typical British delicacies. "Every time I see you, I feel like I enjoy your company more and more," revealed a smitten Stevie before he sealed the deal with a kiss. Later that evening, the London elite met to celebrate Binky’s birthday at an exclusive New York club. As a surprise, Anna Louise flew Binky's old friend and former MIC star Gabriella Ellis, from Los Angeles, to sing at the party.

Meanwhile, as Spencer boasted to Alik and Louise about his successful date with Billie, Alik dropped the bombshell that Stevie and Billie kissed. Obviously annoyed, the self-proclaimed 'bad boy' confronted Billie about dating both him and Stevie, asking, "Boats or bikes?"

He admitted that he really likes her and the two agreed to a second date.

Hearing Spencer's intention to continue dating Billie, Stevie was furious that his friend is still pursuing his date. "If she wanted to hook up with you, she would’ve done it already," boasted Stevie.

"When I really like someone and pursue something, I normally get it," replied a confident Spencer. The sneak peek of next week’s episode showed Jules revealing his open relationship lifestyle to Rosie and love hotting up between Alik and Louise as they finally share a kiss.

The next episode of Made in Chelsea New York will air next Sunday 31st August.
