Battle of the love triangles in Made in Chelsea

October 13, 2014

Made in Chelsea series eight kicked off on Monday with the return of Andy Jordan surfing into the Devon bay as Binky Felstead and Louise Thompson galloped along the beach on horseback. Enjoying their getaway to the seaside, Louise revealed that she was still together with Alik Alfus and that he was planning on moving to London to spend more quality time with her.

Ali and Louise continued their romance following their relationship in MIC NYC this summer

Meanwhile, self-proclaimed bad boy Spencer Matthews opened up to Alex Mytton and Proudlock about his decision to live a cleaner and healthier lifestyle and his plans to throw a 'Saints and Sinners' birthday party. "You'll be a sinner," said Spencer to Proudlock, referring to his fling with newly-signed model Lucy Watson.

The next day Jamie Laing, Toff, Spencer and Sam enjoyed a game of tennis in the summer sun, before Alex turned up to apologise to the Candy Kittens entrepreneur about trying to hook up with his on-off girlfriend, Tara Keeney.

Back at Andy’s Devon beach house, Binky and Stevie Johnson jokingly accused Louise and Andy of flirting. "You were the best thing to happen to Louise," said Stevie as Andy admitted that he wanted to get back together with his ex-girlfirend.

As the boys chatted about Andy’s plan to get Louise back, Binky and Louise discussed her long distance relationship with Ali before they were interrupted by newcomers Lonan and Will who sat down to chat with the girls.

Lonan and Will are new to the MIC cast

The next day, Ali arrived in London and headed straight to Louise’s house before enjoying an afternoon catching up with MIC NYC castmates, Binky and Rosie.

As the foursome enjoyed their afternoon drinks, Binky accidently blurted out that Louise had spent time in Devon with Andy, unbeknown to Ali, but assured him that he had nothing to worry about.

Across town, Spencer and Andy indulged in a spot of painting before Spencer revealed that Ali was 'perfect' and that Andy had a lot of work to do to win back his ex.

Meanwhile, Proudlock and Stevie discussed the awkward situation with Lucy while walking her dog, Digby, in the park.

Proudlock and Lucy enjoyed a brief fling in NYC

"She's very loyal, generous, sweet," complimented Proudlock as Stevie suggested that he should take her on a date. Later that evening at the 'Saints and Sinners' party, Alex and Spencer bumped into Lonan and Will before Alex admitted that he began dating a girl that Lonan was seeing.

Reuniting with his friend Ali, Spencer warned him of Andy’s feelings towards Louise.

"Keep your eyes open," said Spencer as Andy then admitted to being upset when he found out about Ali and Louise’s relationship in New York. Hoping to confront their situation, Proudlock and Lucy finally admitted to having feelings for each other with Proudlock asking Lucy out on date, but asked her to keep it quiet from the rest of the group.

Tune in next Monday at 9pm on E4 for more MIC drama.
