Craig Charles has left I'm A Celebrity... following the tragic death of his brother Dean. An ITV spokesperson confirmed the news in a statement. "Craig decided to leave the IAC camp earlier today (Thursday) and will be heading back to his family in the UK," it read. "We send our sincere condolences to Craig and his family." It's thought that Craig was told of his brother's passing when he woke in Australia on Thursday morning – Wednesday evening UK time.

A show source told the Mirror, "We took the decision not to shock Craig and wake him in the middle of the night, and will inform him of the sad news when he wakes up. He will be allowed to do exactly as he wishes."
Dean - a former policeman and father-of-two, who owned a bar in Spain named after Craig's Red Dwarf character Lister - is believed to have died of a heart attack on Tuesday evening. His ex-wife Karen told the Sun, "It's such a shock. He was always fit and healthy."
Coronation Street star Craig, 50, has become the second celebrity to leave the jungle in two days, following Gemma Collins' decision to quit the show.
But there are two new campmates set to join the contestants this week; it has been confirmed that Edwina Currie and Jake Quickenden will be heading into the bush on Thursday.
