Jake Quickenden, Mel Sykes and Carl Fogarty are officially in the final of I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here! after Edwina Currie became the jungle's latest eviction. The former politician, who was was a late arrival on the show, was voted off on Saturday night.
"That is exactly what should happen, brilliant," said Edwina when hosts Ant and Dec told her she was to leave the camp.
The 68-year-old also told the presenters that she had been pleasantly surprised by her time in the Australian bush and in particlar with her fellow celebrities.
"In fact they were a terrific bunch of people," she said.
"It was a privilege and a pleasure to know them and that's not flannel." Two-time X Factor contestant Jake, 26, is now tipped to take the title of king of the jungle during Sunday night's final.
According to bookmaker Coral, Jake is the favourite with 11-10, 49-year-old Carl is second in the polls at 11-8 while 44-year-old Mel is 4-1.
"Jake has been very popular with the betting public ever since he set foot into the jungle," said Coral's John Hill. "He was soon backed into favouritism, a tag in which he still holds going into Sunday's final."
