X Factor final: Take That to perform with all three finalists

December 11, 2014

There's a special treat in store on The X Factor which promises to make for a show-stopping finale; Take That are set to sing with all three finalists. The chart-topping band will be joined by Fleur East, Ben Haenow and Andrea Faustini to perform their track Rule The World. In an unprecedented move, the final trio will all take to the stage together at Wembley Arena, having already performed twice.

"It's really unusual for producers to team up the final three contestants, as this is when they stand or fall as individuals," a show insider told the Mirror. "But they wanted to spice things up. So rather than having them sing two songs each and a duet,  they'll each be performing a duet and then this collaboration. "They'll all sing Rule The World, which Take That had a hit with in 2006, and also performed at the London Olympics' closing ceremony.

"It's bound to go down really well with the audience at the arena and will make great TV. Expect tons of ticker tape." Take That aren't the only superstars on the billing for the X Factor final. Other acts set to perform over the weekend include One Direction, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Olly Murs, Demi Lovato and Meghan Trainer.
