Though the footage doesnโ€™t give a lot away, it seems to suggest Michelleโ€™s character is certainly a fun-loving girl. She can be seen jumping into a pool with her co-star Cherrelle Skeete, who plays her partner in crime.

The pair star as party-loving receptionists and wannabe WAGs Tracey and Viv in the six-part series, which hits screens this year and has been written by BAFTA and Emmy-winning writer Danny Brocklehurst. It is set in a car salesroom in the north of England, and focuses on, according to the official press release: "a group of compelling characters all dealing with every day dilemmas and what happens when the lies people tell to keep their heads above water spin out of control with sometimes tragic, sometimes funny consequences".

Michelle, who just saw in the New Year with her fiancรฉ Mark Wright in Dubai, stars alongside Max Beesley, Jason Manford, Mackenzie Crook, Jo Joyner and Sally Lindsay.

Max plays ambitious showroom boss Mike, whose marriage to Alison (Belinda Stewart-Wilson) seems to be in a less than perfect condition. His actions suggest an interest in head of sales Beth (Jo Joyner) but she is still reeling from the disappearance of her husband. Beth heads up a team that includes happy-go-lucky family man Marty (Jason Manford), who will hide his disparagement with his job at all costs, hypochondriac and former gambler Paracetemol Pete (Mackenzie Crook) and joker Fat Jason (George Bukhari). Mike's PA Kath (Sally Lindsay) is the mother figure of the team who loves a gossip โ€“ although this doesn't extend to her own private life, which would be the talk of the office if anyone knew the truth. A source told the Sun: "The characters are likeable but they don't always tell the truth. Some lies start off huge, others are tiny and grow."
