NTAs 2015: Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Simon Cowell to go head-to-head

The X Factor's Cheryl Fernandez-Versini and Simon Cowell will go head-to-head at the upcoming National Television Awards as they compete to be named Best Talent Judge. The reality show duo will also face competition in the category from Britain's Got Talent's David Walliams and Great British Bake Off star Mary Berry. Sherlock, Doctor Who, Downton Abbey and Cilla have all been nominated in the Best Drama category, while Benedict Cumberbatch, Dame Maggie Smith, Sheridan Smith and Sarah Lancashire will compete for the Drama Performance prize.

Reality show Georgie Shore, meanwhile, has received its first ever NTA nod, competing in the Multichannel category alongside Celebrity Juice, The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones. This year's ceremony, which will take place on 21st January, also includes a brand new Skills Challenge award, which will see The Great British Bake Off, Masterchef, Come Dine With Me and The Apprentice pitted against each other.

TV favourites Ant and Dec could potentially walk away with their 14th Entertainment Presenter trophy at the ceremony, although they face competition from Bradley Walsh, Keith Lemon and Dermot O'Leary, who is hosting this year’s ceremony. Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale and Hollyoaks will again battle it out to be named Serial Drama, while Kellie Bright, Danny Dyer, Verity Rushworth and Nikki Sanderson compete for the Serial Drama Performance prize.
