Michelle Keegan is back to work after Dubai holiday

January 15, 2015

Having kicked off the new year with fiancé Mark Wright in Dubai, it's back to work for Michelle Keegan, who was seen on the Warrington set of Ordinary Lies on Wednesday afternoon. Fresh from a relaxing escape to the winter sun, Michelle, 27, was all-smiles and as stunning as ever, with her skin flawless and sun-kissed. The  actress was wrapped up against the chill in a navy padded jacket. Presumably dressed in character, she also wore a pair of laced-up fitted jeans.

She held a hot drink to keep warm as she made her way through the set of the BBC drama, her first TV role since Coronation Street. Previously known as Tina McIntyre, Michelle will now play car showroom receptionist Tracy in the new six-part series. It is set in a car salesroom in the north of England, and focuses on, according to the official press release: "a group of compelling characters all dealing with every day dilemmas and what happens when the lies people tell to keep their heads above water spin out of control with sometimes tragic, sometimes funny consequences".

A short clip, which was released earlier in January, revealed what viewers can expect. While the footage didn't give too much away, it seemed to suggest Michelle's character is a fun-loving girl. She can be seen jumping into a pool with her co-star Cherrelle Skeete, who plays her partner in crime.

Michelle stars alongside Max Beesley, Jason Manford, Mackenzie Crook, Jo Joyner and Sally Lindsay in the drama, which hits screens this year and has been written by BAFTA and Emmy-winning writer Danny Brocklehurst.
