Rosamund Pike showed no signs that she had just given birth nine weeks ago as she attended the BAFTAs on Sunday evening. The blonde beauty, who lost out on the Leading Actress award for her role in Gone Girl, glided down the red carpet in an elegant LBD.
Much like the enthralling character Amy Dunne she played in the thriller, Rosamund, 36, was the focus of attention as she stepped out for the London ceremony.
The English Rose rocked a halter neck, floor-length black gown, which showed off her toned arms and statuesque height.

Rosamund, who had left her newborn baby son at home, styled her hair into a chic tousled bob and let her natural beauty shine through, applying just a hint of copper eye shadow.
During the awards held at the Royal Opera House, Rosamund lost out to Julianne Moore but graciously applauded and smiled as her fellow nominee eloquently delivered her acceptance speech. Julianne was presented with the Leading Actress gong for her role in Still Alice, in which she plays a professor who suffers from early-onset Alzheimer's disease.

"It would be nice to actually win, but it's a game," she said on the red carpet. "I'm a big girl and as an actor you are trained to come to terms with disappointment, so I'm practiced."
"I think that at the point your category is announced, there's a feeling of absolute terror. You know, even if this wonderful thing is bestowed upon you, there's this absolute terror about what we do," she added. "We appear in front of people for a living, [but] there's something about the nature of these nights that give you the wrong kind of nerves."
