Ben Stiller stars in first UK trailer for new comedy While We're Young

March 3, 2015

Ben Stiller's new comedy, While We're Young received rave reviews at its premiere at the 2015 Glasgow Film Festival, and this new UK trailer shows why. The cross-generational flick see Ben and Naomi Watts play Josh and Cornelia, a middle-aged couple who befriend a younger couple, much to the amusement of their friends.

Josh has found himself in a creative rut, and so along with Cornelia, the two decide to embark on their new life together, following the hipster couple of Jamie and Darby (played by Girls star Adam Driver and Amanda Seyfried).

The spontaneity of their new life however causes issues with their old friends, and the film, by acclaimed director Noah Baumbach, highlights the differences between a comfortable couple, who have settled into their way of life, and a younger, more bohemian couple.

"I wish you'd look at me the way you look at Jamie and Darby. When you first met me, you used to send me romantic emails", muses Cornelia. "It wouldn't make sense for me to send you emails now, we're in the same room all the time" deadpans Josh.

Filled with wry humour - "I love his shoes. I have some wingtips here somewhere. I stopped wearing them when I got shin splints" - and the setting of cool Brooklyn, While We're Young looks set to become another box office hit for Ben Stiller.

While We're Young is out in cinemas on 3 April 2015.
