Danny Dyer has quickly become one of our favourite EastEnders' actors, and his decision to join the BBC soap continues to be one of his best to date, as the East Londoner picked up the Soap Personality award at the 2015 TRIC Awards. The actor's awards streak carries on from winning the Serial Drama Performance award at the National Television Awards earlier in the year.
The 37-year-old accepted the award at the annual event, with his on-screen wife and daughter, Kellie Bright and Maddy Hill, cheering him on.
Danny Dyer has previously admitted that his role in EastEnders has "taken over my life"
Danny has been credited with helping to turn the show around, but the soap still lost out to its ITV rival, Coronation Street in the TV Soap of the Year category.
Ant and Dec were named TV Personality of the Year for the third year in a row, while Channel4 favourite Gogglebox took home Best Entertainment Programme, Strictly Come Dancing won Best Reality Programme, and Downton Abbey nabbed Best Drama.

HELLO! Online blogger Laura Hamilton, who is currently expecting her second child, also attended the ceremony, and wowed fans in a gorgeous metallic lace maternity dress, which showed off her baby bump.
The 32-year-old recently revealed a pregnancy scare, writing in her blog that the midwife asked her to "book in an urgent growth scan".

Laura wrote in her blog: "She suggested there could be a problem with the placenta or simply the baby might be in a funny position, nothing could be confirmed until they could look at the scan. The next 24 hours were horrible... We were so relieved when the sonographer informed us that everything was absolutely fine.
"As a parent you never stop worrying but at least it’s reassuring to know everything is as it should be for now and fingers crossed the last trimester isn’t too tough."
