Justin Bieber has been making a concerted effort to change his image over the last few months - but his latest attempts may be his best yet. On Wednesday morning, Hollywood star Ben Stiller posted an Instagram snap of the 21-year-old singer trying to out-blue steel Ben, confirming that Justin is joining the hotly anticipated Zoolander sequel.

The pouting Justin - striking the blue steel pose made famous in the movie - is pictured in a tight white T-shirt and jacket, while Ben appears in a tight turtle neck. The both wear their hair styled in the famous "Derek" style, and Justin posted the same image on Instagram - revealing that his hair is, in fact, a wig.

On Monday, Justin alerted his Facebook fans that he was headed to Europe, and alluded to his role in Zoolander 2, currently filming in Rome. "Working on something big right now in Europe. To learn more follow me on Fahlo. He is so hot right now," he posted.

Ben and his Zoolander co-star Owen Wilson revealed the sequel was happening earlier in March, when the pair brought their Zoolander alter egos to life on the runway at Valentino. The comedy duo struck their best blue steel poses as they closed the show at Paris Fashion Week.

The surprise cameo served as the announcement, 14 years after the much-loved film Zoolander was released.

In a recent interview with Coming Soon, Ben said of returning to the world of Derek and Hansel: "Last year, we started looking at it again, and it seemed like the confluence of events of everybody wanting to do it, and it got to a point where it actually came together.

"And it’s exciting to finally be able to talk about it, too."

The sequel to the original hit movie is slated for release in February 2016 and will feature Penelope Cruz, Billy Zane, Fred Armisen, Will Ferrell, Kristen Wiig and Lewis Hamilton.

It is also rumoured that power couple Kim Kardashian and Kanye West will also make a cameo, along with Jonah Hill and fashion Editor Anna Wintour.
