Kylie Jenner tells dad Bruce she wants to meet female side in emotional preview clip

The first official promo for Bruce Jenner's new two-part special has been released. Keeping Up With The Kardashians: About Bruce – which will air on 17 and 18 May – will focus on Bruce's decision to transition into a woman, and the impact that it has on his loved ones. It promises to be an incredibly emotional show.The one-minute preview clip features old footage of Bruce throughout his life, spending time with his children and ex-wife Kris Jenner, while audio of his family's thoughts plays over the top.

Keeping Up With The Kardashians: About Bruce will air 17 and 18 May

"You're thinking someday you're gonna get over it. These are my secrets that I have to deal with on my own," Bruce begins by saying, before Kris can be heard commenting: "I met him on a blind date, and it was kind of love at first sight. "Bruce's step-daughters then speak, with Kim Kardashian stating, "We wanna understand his struggle", and her sister Kourtney Kardashian adding, "I think his biggest concern is he doesn't want to hurt us."Kylie Jenner, meanwhile, says she wants to meet her father's female side. "I do wanna meet her, when he's ready," the 17-year-old says. "When we're both ready."Kendall Jenner, 19, is then heard emotionally telling her dad, "I just don't like it when people say Bruce is gonna be gone", to which he replies, "I'm not going anywhere."

As the clip comes to an end, the former Olympian states: "I don't think I've ever been as scared in my life, as I was to be extraordinarily honest with my kids. "After much speculation, Bruce confirmed his gender transition in a powerful interview with Diane Sawyer in late April. Almost 17 million viewers tuned in to watch the star bravely state: "I am a woman", before revealing that he has known his true identity from an early age and sharing his plans for the future."My heart and soul and everything I do in life, it is part of me, that female side is part of me," Bruce told Diane. "That's who I am. I was not genetically born that way but we identify as female."
