Lauren Murray leaves X Factor house: 'She's packed her stuff'

November 12, 2015

Lauren Murray has moved out of the X Factor house, according to her close friend and recent eliminee Kiera Weathers. The aspiring singer is said to have packed her bags and made a dramatic exit earlier this week.

"She's packed her stuff," Kiera, who was booted from the ITV singing competition on Sunday, said. "She told me she's left the house because she was upset but she's still in the competition."

Kiera added to the Liverpool Echo: "I found it difficult leaving Lauren and the girls. But I'm glad to be home and I'm excited to see what the future holds."

Lauren Murray has reportedly left the X Factor house

Lauren is believed to have left the leafy north London mansion after struggling to cope with the departure of her close friend Kiera, who she has affectionately called her "sister" on social media, and recent eliminee Seann Miley Moore.

She also declined to appear on spin-off show The Xtra Factor on Sunday night because she was so upset by the eliminations.

On Tuesday Lauren posted a tweet hinting at her emotions, as she wrote "The house feels so empty without @seannmileymoore @kieraweathers1" alongside a string of purple heart-shaped emoticons.

The stunning property is in one of North London's most prestigious streets in Barnet

X Factor contestants are allowed to leave the house whenever they want during the competition to go home, and can return when they see fit. It is expected that the 26-year-old budding star from London will return shortly, a spokesperson said.

It seems that Lauren and Kiera have formed a strong friendship from the start of their X Factor adventure. The girls cuddled up for a sweet picture which Kiera posted on Twitter at the beginning of the month, captioning it: "I love my @LaurenMurray89 x."
