While it was reported that Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander had split after nine months last year, they looked the picture of romance at the Golden Globes when they made their awards-show debut as a couple on Sunday evening. The handsome pair were caught on camera sitting side-by-side happily when Michael was named as a nominee for best performance by an actor in a motion picture-drama for his role in Steve Jobs.

For their special evening out, the Swedish actress wore a pleated white column Louis Vuitton dress with a ruffle trim around the neck. German-Irish Michael was dapper in a Tom Ford for the Green Carpet Challenge tuxedo and Chopard watch. Alicia, 26, missed out on her trophies to Brie Larson for Room and Kate Winslet for her work in Steve Jobs, in which she starred opposite Michael.
Kate brought some girl power to the Globes with an emotional acceptance speech praising her fellow nominees. "I just want to say, what an incredible year it for women in film, and I mean, these categories are so crowded and crammed with incredible skill and integrity and I feel prouder than ever this year to be included I really truly do," she said.
