Peter Crouch and Abbey Clancy star in hilarious Saturday Night Takeaway sketch: watch video

Peter Crouch and his wife Abbey Clancy are the latest celebrities to put themselves at the mercy of Ant and Dec in a hilarious video for Saturday Night Takeaway. The couple took part showed off their sense of humour as they took part in the popular I'm A Celebrity… Get Out Of Me Ear! skit, due to air on Saturday evening.

The pair meet a series of children's party planners as they pretend to be organising a party for their daughter, and are given all manner of amusing tasks by Ant and Dec, including staging a spontaneous conga line and playing Hide and Seek.

Peter also jokes about his 6'7" stature in the exclusive clip below after unwrapping a framed portrait from the couple's wedding day to discover that his head has been cut out of the frame. "They've done it again!" he tells Abby, before amusingly asking the party planner to take a photo of himself with the framed image.

Abbey and Peter are the latest stars prepared to poke fun at themselves in the I'm A Celebrity… sketch; other celebrities who have already appeared this series include Mel B and Gino D'Acampo, while Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, Louis Walsh and Peter Andre have all made amusing appearances in the sketch in the past.

Ant and Dec can be seen laughing as they tell the footballer what to say

It is not the only time fans will get to see Peter's comedic skills this weekend; the footballer is also set to star in a Little Britain sketch for Sport Relief, where he can be seen dressed up in women's clothing alongside David Walliams.

Abbey tweeted a short clip of the sketch on Friday morning, writing: "Haha he's a good sport xx".
