The biggest names in television descended upon Royal Festival Hall in London for the BAFTA TV awards on Sunday evening. Suranne Jones was one of the big winners of the night as she took home the leading actress award.
The 37-year-old joked that she had "baby brain" as she collected her award in recognition of her performance in Doctor Foster. The actress, who welcomed a baby boy in March, admitted she was worried she would forget the list of people she wanted to thank.
© Photo: Getty Images"This is such a big moment for me and I've got terrible baby brain. I can't remember my own name never mind anyone elses," Suranne joked.
Speaking to Press Association backstage, she admitted that she was overjoyed following an incredible year that has seen her accomplish a lot in both her personal life and acting career.
"If someone had told me I would have had a husband, a baby and a BAFTA in 2016, I would not have believed them," she said. "I'm very happy with my lot."

The BBC2 show was also named Best Drama Series, while Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman admitted they were shocked to collect the Best Entertainment Programme award for Strictly Come Dancing at the ceremony sponsored by 88 Rue du Rhone.
