EastEnders spoilers: Bobby Beale to strike again?

May 10, 2016

Two years after accidentally murdering his sister Lucy, Bobby Beale is back in Albert Square and things are about to take a very sinister turn. Ian and Jane have been covering for their youngest child since his horrific crime, and sent him to boarding school in an attempt to keep his secret.

But BBC EastEnders viewers have seen recently how the couple are struggling to raise the funds to keep Bobby away from Walford. Now it's been confirmed he's making a return – and it looks like the time out has done nothing for his temper.

Bobby Beale will attack mum Jane's car with a hockey stick

Troubled Bobby will hear Jane talking to Sharon Mitchell about something that upsets him, and decides to get revenge. Soon enough he's attacking Jane's car with a hockey stick, but it's his subsequent actions that will send the Beale family into turmoil.

Although the rest of the storyline is being kept under wraps for now, fans of the soap have taken to Twitter to speculate that violent Bobby will have a run in with Peggy Mitchell, who returned this week to break the news of her terminal cancer to her family.

But it's his actions afterwards that will change the Beale family forever

It's been confirmed that Jane's mum and brother, Christian and Linda Clarke, are returning to the show, along with Ian's eldest son Steven Beale, so could Bobby's latest outrage mean Ian and his wife need their family more than ever before?

This week pictures emerged showing Eliot Carrington, who plays Bobby, filming scenes outside a court. Max Branning, portrayed by Jake Wood, was wrongfully imprisoned for Lucy's murder, and the new images show Bobby with investigating officer DI Samantha Keeble and the Mitchell family lawyer Ritchie Scott.

As Jake Wood is set to return to filming later this year after taking some time out, it looks like Bobby could finally be about to own up to his devastating actions.

Bobby's meltdown will be shown on Thursday 19 May at 7.30pm and Friday 20 May at 8pm on BBC One.
