The 90-second clip directed by Bill Condon sets the scene for the movie, taking viewers inside Beast's candlelit castle before the door begins to open and Belle calls out: "Hello?" It offers only a glimpse at the leading lady as she reaches out to the Enchanted Rose before the words "Be Our Guest 3.17.17" appear on screen.

Harry Potter star Emma announced in January 2015 that she was set to take on the iconic role of Belle, telling fans that her "six year old self is on the ceiling – heart bursting". Other famous faces set to appear in the film include Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens as Beast, Ewan McGregor as Lumiere, Luke Evans as Gaston and Emma Thompson as Mrs Potts.

The original Beauty and the Beast grossed more than £258million ($375million) at the global box office when it was released in 1991 – success Disney will hope to repeat with their new live action remake.
