It's been five years since she broke up with the dashing Mark Darcy, played by Colin Firth, and Bridget hasn't got the "happily ever after" she hoped for.

It's alright though. She's decided to focus on her job as a top news producer and surround herself with old friends and new.

The father of her baby is either Mark Darcy or Jack Qwant

Now she must figure out who the proud daddy is. Is it her new love interest Jack, or her old flame Mark who is back in the picture?

Bridget Jones's Baby is out in cinemas on 16 September

Fans won't find out the answer until Bridget Jones's Baby is released in mid-September. And it appears the cast are being left in the dark about how the film concludes too, as screenwriter Helen Fielding wrote three different endings to avoid any spoilers.

"It's kind of brilliant," Renée told the Sunday Express. "None of the cast know who fathered Bridget's baby or who she'll choose as her beau. The plan is to keep us all in the dark, right up to the premiere."
